• Arts Ensemble International's Education Foundation Presents, Gin Gin's Secrete Project; Healing Through the Arts. - The team of Arts Ensemble International (A.E.I.) Education Foundation proudly unveils their newest community outreach program, "Gin Gin's Secrete Project, Healing Through The Arts."   • Who's Doing W.H.A.T., Polk County, Florida, Student Art Competition - Congratulations to all of the children participating in this exciting Art In History program. With over 425 entries, judges were challenged to select four first place recipients. Grade levels 3rd through 6th were selected to participate in this competition and student winners placed first through fifth, with a first place winner in each grade level. Each of the First Place Winners will forever be able to view their work as a 4' x 4' tile mosaic at the brand new Winter Haven Area Transit (W.H.A.T.) Terminal, in Winter Haven, Florida.   • Arts Ensemble International Selected To Create Mosaic at the Winter Haven Area Transit Terminal Facility - Resident Artists Richard Powers, Karen Retana, and Buddy Sears have been commissioned to create a 12' x12' floor mosaic and 7 - 4' x 6 wall mosaics for the newly constructed Winter Haven Area Transit Terminal, located in Winter Haven, Florida. In addition to creating these mosaics, Arts Ensemble International will lead a student art competition to find 4, Polk County students, that will create the remaining art to be placed as 4' x 4' wall mosaics along side the artists of Arts Ensemble International.

  • Powers creates outstanding murals for Outpost 27, the new Tourist Information Center, located at I-4 and Hwy 27 - The art and beauty of Richard (Rick) Powers will welcome visitors as they enter the newly built Outpost 27 Tourist Information Center, located on Hwy 27, just south of I-4.

  • Sears Art chosen for Merrill Lynch Building - In April, 2007, Buddy Sears was chosen as the artist for the Merrill Lynch building. There are currently 16 abstract paintings by Sears on display. (Press Release)
